I woke up in the morning a few weeks ago hearing a “dang” — my way of spelling the sound of both her feet landing on the floor — I was stunt of how she manage to “ninja” her way out so delicately while just like a cat would do landed on all four — in her case on all two.
I am not the kind to began a text with a pessimistic tone but I must confess, all parents we are bound to fail. The reality is there is no easy road to raise our children. We can get as much theory as we want — exactly what I did — but until actual real life situations, we are clueless.
I have been brainstorming over the past few days to settle my mind on how to remain a honest, truthful model to my daughter without robing her from her childhood.
In the heart of those we raise we are everything. Everything and beyond. We are the most precious, loved, hero like human being in their eyes. They learn above and beyond with and from us. They copy things we do and translate it into their own ways.
